Clear Correct

What is Clear Correct?

Clear Correct is an invisible aligner that is made from clear plastic and which fits tightly over the teeth. Patients are provided with a series of aligners and each set is worn for twenty two hours each day for approximately three weeks. Treatment can take anywhere from one to two years to complete.

Who Can Benefit from Clear Correct?

Clear Correct can be suitable for adults and some teenagers. It can be helpful for correcting overcrowded or crooked teeth, incorrectly spaced teeth and overbites and underbites. It may not be suitable for more complex orthodontic problems.

What is the Treatment Process?

You will need a full consultation with a dentist at Maroubra Junction Dental Centre to determine if Clear Correct is the best brace for you. If you decide to proceed with treatment, we will take photographs, impressions and dental x-rays which are sent to the Clear Correct laboratory. They turn this information into a 3-D model of your teeth which is used to precisely plan how your teeth will move, until they are in their correct positions. You will be able to preview computerised images of your treatment plan before your aligners are fabricated, so any final adjustments can be made.
